Grindr agrees to acquire PurposeMed for $250 million

Grindr agreed on 30 September 2026 to acquire PurposeMed, the parent company of HIV-prevention telehealth provider Freddie, for a base price of $250 million ($190 million in cash and $60 million in Grindr stock), with up to $70 million in additional earnout payments. The deal is expected to close by the end of 2026.
