Vortex raises $1.9M via Yamagata Bank SDGs private bond

What's the deal? VortexDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a Tokyo-based property and corporate finance company, has raised US$2.31M through an unsecured bond issued on September 30, 2026. Yamagata Bank served as fiscal agent and underwriter for the three-year debt, marketed as the "Yamagin 130th Anniversary SDGs Private Bond." Vortex will use the funds as working capital.

What does Vortex do? Founded in 1999, the company centres its business on "sectional ownership offices" — its VORT-branded buildings clustered in central Tokyo — alongside real estate and asset management services. It employs 821 people across branches from Sapporo to Kagoshima.

Vortex will use part of the waived issuance fee to donate to the construction of Montedio YamagataDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →'s new stadium, while the bank donates to Yamagata Prefecture — marking its 150th year — to fund "sustainable tourism development."

By the numbers. Vortex posted revenue of US$813.1M and ordinary profit of US$80M for the year ended March 2026. It holds US$606.2M in rental property and US$5.69B in assets under custody, and operates more than 200 buildings across Tokyo's five central wards.
