What's the deal? First Intuition Group HoldingsDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, the company behind accountancy trainer First IntuitionDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, has acquired DecodedDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a data and AI capability training business. The acquisition was announced in September 2026. Terms were not disclosed.

What's the endgame? First Intuition wants to pair its financial training with Decoded's data and AI programmes, offering both to the wider market. Chief executive officer Martin Taylor said clients and learners "regularly ask how we can support them in these areas."

Why now? Taylor pointed to rising demand, saying data and AI capabilities are "becoming increasingly important to every organisation we work with." The two businesses already share some clients, with employers investing in financial capability through First Intuition and in data and AI capability through Decoded.

What changes? Existing customers gain access to a combined catalogue of programmes and services. Taylor said the companies share "the same philosophy, the same ambition and, in several cases, the same clients," describing their cultures and values as closely aligned.

The signal: The deal reflects how corporate training providers are racing to bundle AI skills into their offerings as employers scramble to upskill staff. By absorbing a specialist rather than building in-house, First Intuition bets that cross-selling to a shared client base is the faster route into a fast-growing market.
