Aitane raises pre-Series A from Shannon to build sales AI agent
What's the deal? Tokyo-based AitaneDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has raised an early-stage pre-Series A round from Shannon LLCDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → through a third-party allotment of shares, the companies said. They signed a capital and business alliance on September 30, 2026.
What's the endgame? Aitane builds a sales AI agent that handles the admin around client meetings — logging business cards into CRM systems, drafting emails, scheduling, analysing prospects before meetings, and updating deal records. The goal, per its vision, is "to create a world where salespeople can sell."
Why now? Founder and chief executive officer Junichiro Aida says he saw firsthand how SFA and CRM tools exhaust sales teams with data entry, leaving information unrecorded and systems underused. Aitane also aims to surface information during in-person meetings via wearable devices, a feature it is developing and testing.
What's the alliance for? Shannon develops and runs backend-as-a-service (BaaS) tools, including AI avatars, passkey authentication, Webhook delivery, and membership systems. Aitane will use that BaaS as the foundation for its product and contract development to speed up its work.
Shannon representative Masahiro Miura said Aitane's product "connects preparation, recording, and follow-up for meetings into a single AI agent," citing its readiness for real sales use. Aida thanked the investor and framed the deal as a chance to combine Shannon's technology with Aitane's field experience.
The signal: The tie-up reflects a broader push to automate sales busywork with AI agents, freeing reps for client-facing work. By pairing a young sales-tech startup with an infrastructure provider, both bet that shared foundations can accelerate product development in a crowded market.
