The capital came entirely from creators, community members, and professional athletes, rather than institutional funds.

Who backed it? Investors include Kandi Burruss, Jackie Aina, Jenee Naylor, Allyiah Gainer, tennis player Taylor Townsend, and NFL safety Kam Curl. Creator agencies Kensington GreyDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → and DBADealroom has a profile for this one. In total, more than 40 creators joined the cap table.

What makes it different? Sensori built its raise around a model where creators invest their own capital and commit to defined brand activations in exchange for equity. "Creators were already the reason people discovered and bought this brand, so why were we treating them like a marketing line item instead of a partner?" said co-founder and chief operating officer Darean Rhodes.

Why now? The close caps 10 consecutive months of month-over-month growth, including five sold-out production runs and gains across TikTok ShopDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → and Instagram. Alongside the raise, Sensori is adding two flavors, bringing its total to four across its Connect and Play lines.

What's the endgame? The company frames itself as a bet on "mood-forward" drinking, a fast-growing corner of consumer packaged goods. Co-founder and chief executive officer Shanna Pearre said the approach signals conviction: "It tells you they believe in the outcome, not just a one-time transaction."

The signal: The round reflects a shift in how talent engages with brands — moving creators and athletes from paid endorsers into equity owners with a direct stake. For an early-stage consumer brand, it is also a modest raise, sitting near the middle of the pack by pre-seed size, but one that turns a marketing channel into a group of committed owners.
