Graneet raises €7M to turn e-invoicing into a construction ERP entry point
What's the deal? Graneet, a Paris-based startup that builds ERP software for small construction firms, has raised €7 million in a Series B round. The company, founded in 2020, serves nearly 1,500 clients and will use the funds to develop new modules and deploy AI agents connected to management data.
Why now? Since September 1, 2026, all French companies must be able to receive electronic invoices; small and mid-sized firms must issue them from September 1, 2027. Graneet wants to make that regulatory obligation the entry point into a broader platform covering purchasing, invoicing, profitability, scheduling, and site operations.
What's the endgame? On a construction site, an invoice rarely stands alone — it links to a revised quote, a delivery, a progress statement, a retention guarantee, or a subcontractor payment. Graneet aims to connect each invoice to the purchase order, delivery, and project budget, and ultimately to the margin actually earned.
The company frames its role against compliance-only tools: it relies on Pennylane for the regulatory layer and positions itself as the operational layer. "It arrives too late to prevent the drift it reveals," reflects the article's framing of the site invoice problem, underlining Graneet's pitch to surface issues before a project closes.

Angel investors included Nicolas Dessaigne and Jean-Christophe Taunay-Bucalo. The new €7 million round did not name its participants.
The signal: At €7 million, the round sits in the lower band for its stage — roughly the 29th percentile by amount. Yet the timing is pointed: France's e-invoicing mandate forces every construction firm to choose which system its invoices flow through, and Graneet is betting that choice reshapes the sector's software stack.
