Graneet provides a vertical software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform tailored for the financial and administrative management needs of small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the French construction sector. The company was established in 2020 by co-founders Jean-Gabriel Niel (CEO), Raphaël Moulin (CTO), and Enzo Dozias (CPO). Niel, whose family has a background in the construction industry, identified a significant gap in the market after a McKinsey study highlighted construction as one of the least digitized sectors. He brought together his co-founders to create a solution aimed at improving profitability for construction SMEs, a segment where over 10,000 businesses face bankruptcy annually in France.

The Paris-based firm operates on a subscription-based business model, offering its clients a fixed monthly price for access to its platform. This all-in-one solution is designed to function as a mini-ERP system, specifically for companies with revenues between €1M and €50M that find full-fledged ERPs too complex. Graneet's core objective is to provide real-time visibility into project profitability, helping business owners move away from managing their finances through spreadsheets. The platform's key features include disbursement costing to manage margins from the quoting stage, progress invoicing, expense tracking, and labor monitoring. It consolidates financial data to provide live dashboards that track key performance indicators and cash flow per construction site, thus enabling better strategic planning and preventing margin leakage.

Since its inception, Graneet has demonstrated significant growth, tripling its revenue in a six-month period leading up to its Series A funding. The company secured a seed round of $2.8 million in October 2021, followed by a Series A funding of €8 million ($8.7 million) in April 2023. This funding was led by Point Nine and Foundamental, with participation from other investors including Axeleo Capital and notable business angels. The capital is intended to accelerate customer acquisition, enhance product development, and strengthen its market presence in France, with long-term goals of offering additional financial products and services.
