What's the endgame? Founded by telecommunications engineer Miguel Peñate, Reply Next lets brands with hundreds or thousands of physical locations manage their digital presence from one place. Its AI agents respond to customers, monitor competitors, spot issues and carry out tasks automatically based on each brand's guidelines.

Why now? The company is targeting the growing volume of reviews, ratings, messages and searches tied to individual locations across platforms such as Google MapsDealroom has a profile for this one. According to Peñate, nine out of ten companies do not know how much revenue their stores generate through Google Maps, 70% of brands do not respond to users on public channels, and fewer than 10% of businesses appear in AI-powered search results. "Reply Next was created to close this gap and give each location the intelligence it needs to compete," he said.

What's next? The funding will strengthen Reply Next's technology and sales teams, accelerate product development, and fund new AI agents designed to automate processes and decisions for brands.

The signal: At €400,000, the round sits below the midpoint for its category, a modest early bet on applying AI agents to the fragmented problem of local digital presence.
