The round lifts Langsilicon's total raised to nearly US$41.3M.

What's the endgame? Founded in March 2023 by semiconductor veteran Wang Daxiang, Langsilicon uses chipmaking processes to build capacitors that are smaller and easier to integrate near a main chip, meeting its power and packaging needs. The company will use the funds to develop its packaging-component platform, expand its core team, and buy key equipment to scale up production.

Why now? Langsilicon shifted its focus from consumer electronics to AI chips, targeting CPU and GPU power delivery. Its multi-terminal substrate-embedded capacitors are now in volume delivery for CPUs and GPUs, winning orders worth over US$13.8M.

By the numbers: Revenue stood in the millions of CNY in 2025, driven mainly by validation orders. Wang expects it to reach tens of millions of CNY in 2026 as more customers move to volume delivery. The company has over 20 mass-production and validated customers, more than 200 product models, and monthly capacity above 500 million units.

Investor view: Zhongqi Capital said rising AI compute is raising demand on power-delivery networks in advanced packaging, opening a domestic-substitution opening for silicon-based passive components. Zhiwei Capital pointed to the team's ability to turn technology into products and customer value.

The signal: The round ranks near the 90th percentile for early-stage venture deals in China over the trailing 48 months, a sign of investor appetite for the picks-and-shovels layer of the AI hardware boom. As chip power demands climb, suppliers of the passive components that keep those chips fed are drawing fresh capital.
