Sherweb rebrands its first European acquisition as UK push accelerates

What's the deal? Canadian cloud distributor SherwebDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has completed the rebrand of MicroWarehouseDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, the Irish IT distributor it acquired in December 2024, folding the business fully under its own name. The deal value was not disclosed.

The details: Sherweb bought MicroWarehouse to serve managed service providers (MSPs), with a focus on cybersecurity, business continuity, and AI. Until now the Irish unit had traded under its own brand while tapping Sherweb's resources.

Why it matters: The purchase was Sherweb's first outside North America and its entry point into Europe. General manager Rory Wilson stayed on to steer the transition.

What's the endgame? Sherweb is scaling its European footprint from a Dublin base at Park West. In 2026 it expanded into the UK, and it is now advertising channel roles in Dublin, Manchester, and Birmingham.

The rebrand is "more than a rebrand," the company said on social media; "it's the coming together of two teams with a shared commitment to helping our partners grow."

The signal: Cloud distribution is consolidating as MSPs demand broader tooling, and North American players are moving into Europe to win that channel. Sherweb's Irish deal, now fully absorbed, gives it the launchpad for a wider UK and European build-out.
