Blue Owl's OCIC raises $1B in notes, upsizes credit line to $4.2B

What's the deal? Blue Owl Credit Income Corp. (OCIC) completed a $1 billion notes offering and amended its senior secured revolving credit facility, increasing capacity and extending its maturity. The transactions bring total debt capital raised since June 30, 2026 to roughly $1.3 billion.

The details: The notes offering, closed earlier in September, comprises $700 million of 6.250% notes due 2029 and $300 million of 6.550% notes due 2031. The 2031 tranche is an add-on to $500 million issued in June, lifting that series to $800 million outstanding.

OCIC also amended its revolving credit facility on September 16, 2026, raising total commitments to $4.2 billion from $3.9 billion. The maturity was extended by about two years to September 2031, and pricing dropped from SOFR plus 1.875% to a range of SOFR plus 1.650% to 1.775%.

Why now? Every existing bank partner renewed its commitment, with several lenders upsizing to add $300 million in capacity. Net proceeds from the notes went in part to repay existing debt and streamline OCIC's liability structure.

What's the endgame? OCIC is a specialty finance company lending to US middle-market companies. As of June 30, 2026, it held investments in 345 portfolio companies worth an aggregate $35.7 billion.

"The strong demand for our recent notes offering and support from our bank group, including upsized commitments from several lenders, reflect continued confidence in OCIC's portfolio and platform," said chief executive officer Craig W. Packer.

The signal: At $1 billion, the raise sits in the top 10% of post-IPO debt deals in fintech, based on 2,439 comparable rounds. As lenders re-price commitments lower and extend maturities, private credit players like OCIC are locking in flexibility to pursue what Packer called "an increasingly attractive lending environment."
