Try Dealroom →, a Plano, Texas-based Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central partner, for an undisclosed sum. Announced September 16, 2026, the deal brings CBSiDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →'s team, decades of experience, and its ofsERP® software platform into the RUX portfolio.

What each company does: RUX is an independent software vendor building verticalized solutions for industrial equipment and commercial field services businesses on Dynamics 365 Business Central. CBSi, with more than 35 years of ERP implementation experience, developed ofsERP® — a purpose-built extension for oilfield services and construction firms handling asset management, field service, equipment rental, inspections, and transportation.

Why it matters: The acquisition deepens RUX's foothold in the oilfield services space. CBSi's advanced invoicing engine has delivered billing-cycle reductions of up to 80% for its clients.

What changes for customers? CBSi's clients keep the same team and support, now inside a larger organisation. "Joining RUX means our clients get the same team and the same support they have always counted on, now inside an organization with a broad, verticalized product set for the industry and more resources behind it," said CBSi founder Dennis Smith.

The rationale: Smith had sought an organisation to carry the company's legacy forward, and found RUX's track record in industrial equipment and field service technology aligned with client expectations. "CBSi brings exactly the kind of domain expertise we look for," said Natalie Lemke, chief executive officer of RUX.

The signal: The deal reflects continued consolidation among vertical ERP specialists building on Microsoft's Business Central platform, as buyers acquire niche domain expertise rather than build it in-house.
