The company builds an ETF-native intelligence layer that normalises fragmented market data into a single source of truth, delivered via API, a web application, and an emerging AI conversational layer.
What's the endgame? ETFbook wants to become the default data infrastructure for the global ETF market. Clients — from issuers to hedge funds — can build on its harmonised data or consume its ready-made analytics.
Where it's expanding: The round funds a move beyond ETFbook's EMEA base into the Americas (AMER) and Asia-Pacific (APAC). "This round is what takes our AI-native approach from the EMEA region into the AMER and APAC markets," said co-founder and chief executive officer Pawel Janus.
Why now? Global ETF assets have reached $25 trillion and are on track for $35 trillion by 2030, according to ETFbook data. Product launches are relentless: 1,320-plus new funds hit European and US markets in 2026 so far — around seven every trading day.
The traction: ETFbook counts more than 70 enterprise clients across continental Europe, the UK, and the US, including fund administrators, market makers, and asset managers. Recurring revenue has grown more than 100% annually over recent years.
The signal: Capital keeps rotating out of mutual funds and into ETFs, but the data plumbing underneath has lagged. ETFbook is betting that a specialist, AI-enhanced layer — rather than a generalist financial data vendor — can capture that gap as the sector scales globally.
