MiCoB lands $3.1M angel round for 3D construction printing on Vande Bharatam

What's the endgame? Founded by Ankita Sinha, Shashank Shekhar, and Rishabh Mathur, MiCoB runs a full-stack Digital Construction Manufacturing platform. It combines proprietary printable concrete, automated batching, robotic deposition, and digital quality control to turn building into a manufacturing-led process.
The technology is already deployed across defence bunkers, retaining structures, modular buildings, hospitality structures, and industrial components. MiCoB says the approach cuts material wastage and speeds up delivery by reducing reliance on conventional formwork.

"MiCoB is a clear example of what Vande Bharatam is designed to surface," he said.
For the investors, existing traction was the draw. "What convinced us wasn't just the technology — it was seeing MiCoB's platform already deployed and working across defence, infrastructure and industrial sites," Krishnamurthy said.
By the numbers: The deal ranks among the largest angel commitments made on the programme this season. Against comparable angel rounds in India's 3D technology sector, it sits above the 95th percentile across an all-time sample of 995 deals.
The signal: Vande Bharatam, a grassroots innovation programme launched by Gautam Adani, is channelling capital toward Indian deep-tech ventures with proven field deployments. The season concludes September 17 with a grand finale, where winners receive a US$271.6K cash prize backed by Adani Group.
