What the buyer says: "As Tera Group, we have taken another highly strategic step in our growth journey," Tezmen said in a statement (translated from Turkish). Tera said the changes mark "an important stage" for Pusula's new corporate structure and the strategic process between the two groups.

What could go wrong? The transfer is not yet closed. Completion depends on approvals from the relevant regulatory bodies and on the other closing conditions agreed by the parties.

The signal: The tie-up points to consolidation across Turkey's participation banking and savings finance sector, as larger financial groups absorb specialised players to build broader, integrated platforms.
