March Networks and VIVOTEK debut combined portfolio five months after merger

The two video surveillance and security firms will show new integrations across their combined portfolio at booth 1823 from September 14 to 16.
What's the endgame? The companies are pitching what they call "Connected Intelligence for Modern Security," combining video, AI, cloud and business intelligence into one system. The aim is to give customers better operational data and faster ways to act on it across multiple locations.
What's new? Demonstrations include broader VIVOTEK camera support within March Networks environments and a new C•CURE integration that brings access control events and video into a single view. VIVOTEK's VORTEX platform now connects with Searchlight Cloud, and Searchlight AI — offering natural-language video search — is included for Searchlight Cloud customers at no extra license cost.
New hardware also features. The VIVOTEK Chroma24 camera delivers full-color video in ultra-low-light conditions, improving AI detection and search, while expanded face and license plate search works across compatible devices.
Why now? Since the April merger, the combined teams have connected technologies to build practical capabilities for customers. "Now we can point to real examples of that happening," said Net Payne, chief sales and marketing officer. "GSX allows us to show that progress together on a global stage."
What does it look like in practice? Jeff Corrall, chief product officer, cited a North American apparel brand with more than 500 stores that was weighing a competitor's cloud analytics tool. The company integrated VIVOTEK cameras, the VORTEX platform and March Networks software to strengthen store security while measuring foot traffic and checkout efficiency. "That combination gave the customer the confidence to choose us," he said.
