Syarah lands $12M from Impact46 to take its car marketplace nationwide
What's the deal? Saudi online automotive marketplace Syarah has raised $12 million from Riyadh-based venture capital firm Impact46. The company plans to expand its new-and-used car platform across the Kingdom.
What's the endgame? Syarah lets customers browse vehicles, complete purchases remotely, and have cars delivered to their location, moving much of the dealership process online. It brings new and used cars into a single marketplace. The platform already serves buyers across all regions of Saudi Arabia and has handled thousands of purchases.
Where's the money going? The capital will support further development of Syarah's digital platform and delivery operations as it scales nationwide. Impact46, which invests across technology and growth companies, led the round.
The signal: The model gives Syarah a way to reach buyers beyond the largest urban centres without relying on a physical dealership footprint. The company has not disclosed the stage of the round or how the funding will be allocated.
