PharmEasy founders raise US$27.2M for home venture AllHome

What's the deal? The four co-founders of digital pharmacy PharmEasy have raised US$27.2M in a Series B round for AllHome, their home improvement startup. Bessemer Venture Partners led the round, with participation from Stride VenturesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, valuing the company at US$271.6M.

Who's behind it? Dharmil Sheth, Dhaval Shah, Hardik Dedhia, and Siddharth Shah — the team that built PharmEasy — are now betting on physical products over digital healthcare.

What's the endgame? AllHome is building a house-of-brands model, owning manufacturing across surfaces, hardware, bath fittings, façades, windows, and lighting. Controlling the brand and supply chain gives the founders more say over quality, pricing, and margins. The new funds will expand experience centres, manufacturing capacity, and the product portfolio.

By the numbers: The company reports an annual revenue run rate above US$54.3M, with claimed EBITDA margins of 18-20% — unusual profitability for a venture-backed startup at this stage.

Why it matters: India's home improvement market is worth an estimated $30-35 billion but remains heavily fragmented, dominated by unorganised local suppliers and contractors. Purchasing decisions often run through architects, designers, and contractors, requiring a strategy beyond consumer advertising.

What could go wrong? Building a national brand is capital-intensive, demanding heavy spending on logistics, supply chains, and physical stores. Local players hold deep regional ties and lower overheads, and demand tracks the real estate and construction cycle.

The signal: Serial founders are increasingly leaving digital platforms to build vertically integrated, manufacturing-led businesses. Whether AllHome can scale production while holding its margins will test whether the house-of-brands model can organise one of India's messiest markets.
