Try Dealroom →, has acquired a stake in Novumstate GmbHDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a German PropTech firm that bills itself as an "AI-first" property management company. The deal gives Novumstate fresh capital and strategic support for expansion. Neither the investment size nor the valuation was disclosed.
What's the endgame? Novumstate wants to overhaul a market still dependent on manual work and high labour costs. According to the company, about 70% of revenue at traditional property management firms comes from manual tasks.
How it works: Novumstate built its platform around AI from the ground up, rather than bolting tools onto existing workflows. Incoming inquiries are automatically understood, classified, and assigned, while emails and calls are turned into structured tasks without manual entry. An early-warning system flags risks before they escalate.
"Our employees start with the solution, not with the inbox," said co-founder David Pikart (translated from German).
Why it matters: The in-house platform consolidates owner, tenant, and management communication, task processing, owners' meetings, and accounting into one system. Because Novumstate builds and runs the infrastructure itself, efficiency gains from automation stay within the company.
The signal: The deal reflects growing investor appetite for AI-native businesses that target labour-heavy industries ripe for automation, with property management emerging as a test case for how far the technology can replace manual work.
