Fundraise

Atravelq raises seed round at $1.2M valuation to expand personalised travel

What's the deal? Chandigarh-based travel company AtravelqDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has raised a seed round at an equity valuation of ₹10 crore, or roughly $1.2 million, to expand its personalised international travel services. The round was backed by seed investor and founding stakeholder Capt. Dhruv Anand.

What does it do? Atravelq offers customised travel across more than 180 destinations, including Europe, Japan, Southeast Asia, and New Zealand. It provides end-to-end services — holiday packages, visa assistance, flights, hotels, transfers, and concierge support — and runs an office in the UAE.

By the numbers: The company has served more than 10,000 travellers and facilitated nearly 6,000 international journeys. It reports a customer retention rate of 60–70%.

Where's the money going? The capital will fund technology, customer experience, and operations. Atravelq plans to build destination partnerships and add new features.

What's the endgame? Founder Prashant Daroch wants a platform built around individual preferences rather than fixed itineraries. "Through this fundraising round, we are now able to invest more in technology, destination knowledge and support services, enabling international travellers to plan their travel with ease," he said. Over five years, the company aims to serve around 50,000 customers.

The signal: Atravelq is betting that outbound travellers increasingly want curated trips, blending technology with local expertise. The seed round signals early investor confidence in personalisation as the wedge in India's growing outbound travel market.
