Polarise secures debt financing for European AI cloud expansion

What's the deal? PolariseDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a German provider of sovereign AI cloud services, has secured debt financing of up to a high double-digit million-euro amount from SWI Stoneweg Icona Group. The company will use the funds to expand its European AI cloud platform.

Why now? Polarise and SWI Stoneweg Icona Group have converted a previously announced majority equity investment agreement into a debt financing arrangement, strengthening Polarise's capital base and adding flexibility to scale.

What's the endgame? Polarise develops and operates AI data centres in Germany and across Europe through a modular AI Pod concept. It provides GPU- and AI-as-a-Service through its own cloud platform and is an NVIDIA Cloud Partner and Cloud Service Provider. Further AI Factories are planned in Europe, including a facility in Amberg, Bavaria, with an initial capacity of 65MW scalable to 120MW.
