VastAdvisor raises $1M seed to build organic growth engine for wealth firms

What's the deal? VastAdvisorDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, an AI platform that helps wealth management firms acquire clients, has closed a $1 million seed round. The round, structured as a SAFE, was led by Dani FavaDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, Jason Pereira, and Sally George — fintech and wealth industry figures. It was announced in August 2026.

What's the endgame? The Dana Point, California startup is building what it calls organic growth infrastructure — software focused on acquiring assets rather than managing them. Its platform combines audience intelligence, campaign automation, compliance monitoring, and continuous optimisation in one system, using AI models trained on firm-specific data.

Where the money goes: The funding will accelerate the product roadmap and support go-to-market efforts as VastAdvisor expands across registered investment advisors (RIAs), broker-dealers, and wealth platforms. The company debuted earlier this year at Future Proof Citywide and has begun signing enterprise clients.

Who's on the team? The round follows key leadership hires: Phil Gale as co-founder and chief operating officer, Eli Gassert as chief technology officer, and Dr. Edoardo M. Airoldi as acting chief data officer. They join chief executive officer and co-founder Ian Karnell.

Karnell said the backing brought both capital and endorsement. "It has been so meaningful and validating having not only a financial investment from fintech juggernauts but also having their support and encouragement as VastAdvisor develops and permeates the wealth management ecosystem," he said.

Why it matters: Organic growth has long been elusive for wealth firms, the company argues, because referrals don't scale and lead brokers don't provide ownable leads. VastAdvisor pitches a repeatable, compliance-governed alternative that aims to lower acquisition costs.

Lead investor Pereira, senior partner at Woodgate FinancialDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, put it bluntly: "Organic growth has globally been an issue for years but it doesn't have to be anymore thanks to VastAdvisor."

The signal: At $1 million, the round sits in the bottom third of comparable seed deals — a modest first check for a startup positioning itself in a still-underserved corner of wealthtech. Backing from named industry insiders rather than institutional funds signals early conviction, but VastAdvisor's category ambitions will hinge on converting its enterprise pilots into scale.
