The companies said the transaction follows a technology collaboration that demonstrated the compatibility of their platforms, while Fishway's team will join Ever After Foods.

What it means. The integrated platform is intended to shorten development cycles and support the development and industrial-scale production of cultivated meat, seafood and other next-generation protein applications. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Ever After Foods also secured an additional $2 million strategic investment to support commercialisation and expansion.
