Agemark buys Omaha's Whispering Ridge in first deal of new PE partnership

It marks the first acquisition through Agemark's new investment partnership with an institutional private equity investor.
Why now? The deal expands Agemark's presence in its hometown of Omaha, where it is headquartered. The addition grows its Omaha-area portfolio to five communities totalling more than 450 units.
What's the endgame? Agemark and its investment partner plan to invest roughly $1.25 million in capital improvements. Planned work includes renovated common areas and resident corridors, plus updated furniture, fixtures, and equipment. The Bellflower will offer Active Living, Assisted Living, Assisted Living Plus, and Memory Care services.
