KLleon taps KB Securities as both IPO underwriter and investor
What's the deal? KLleon, a South Korean company that gives AI a human face and voice, has selected KB SecuritiesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → as its lead IPO underwriter and raised investment from the same firm. It announced the Series B round in August 2026.
What's the endgame? KLleon builds what it calls a "Human Interface Layer," combining large language models, speech recognition and synthesis, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and real-time video generation and streaming. The aim is to let AI agents see, hear, and speak like people across guidance, customer response, education, and training.
The company is expanding commercial use in corporate training, digital signage, customer service, and brand experience.
Why now? The dual deal pairs an underwriting contract with fresh capital, letting KLleon formally begin its push toward the capital market.
In their words: "KLleon is not a company that makes digital humans, but a company that provides the point where AI meets people as a platform," said chief executive officer Jin Seung-hyuk.
KB Securities said it valued KLleon's technology and business scalability, adding that the company "is pioneering a new market called enterprise AI interface."
The signal: Tying an IPO mandate to an equity investment signals an underwriter's conviction early. For KLleon, it frames enterprise AI interfaces as a category worth a public listing.
