Try Dealroom →, has disclosed $90,229,639 sold towards a planned $150,000,000 equity offering, according to a Form D filed on 3 August 2026. The filing leaves $59,770,361 still to sell.

What the company does. Emerald AI builds software that can temporarily slow, move or reschedule selected AI workloads when the power grid is under strain. Its Emerald Conductor product connects data centres with utilities and grid operators, then adjusts compute in response to grid conditions while maintaining service requirements.

A steep acceleration. Emerald AI had announced $68 million in total funding before this offering: a $24.5 million seed led by Radical VenturesDealroom has a profile for this one. If the new Form D is fully incremental, Emerald AI's disclosed and announced capital would reach at least $158.2 million. The company has not confirmed that figure, and the filing does not establish whether the $90.2 million includes any previously announced round.

What's the proof? A field demonstration published in Nature Energy used a commercial cloud cluster with 256 GPUs in Phoenix. The trial cut cluster power consumption by 25% for three hours during a peak grid event while maintaining the workloads' stated quality-of-service guarantees.

The signal. Emerald AI is selling flexibility as infrastructure — treating AI data centres as adjustable loads rather than fixed drains on the grid. The company, founded in November 2024, is already pursuing a $150 million offering as investors back solutions to AI's near-term electricity constraint.
