Paisalo Digital taps debt markets again with ₹30,000 lakh NCD tranche
Paisalo Digital has launched Tranche I of a public issue of secured, rated, listed, redeemable non-convertible debentures (NCDs), with an issue size of up to ₹30,000 lakh (roughly $31.4 million). The debentures carry a face value of ₹1,000 each and will list on BSE Limited.
Tranche I comprises a base issue of ₹15,000 lakh, with an option to retain oversubscription up to another ₹15,000 lakh. It sits within a larger shelf limit of up to ₹90,000 lakh set by the company.
The NCDs span six series with tenors from 18 to 60 months and coupons ranging from 9.00% to 10.47% per annum. They are secured by an exclusive charge on the company's loan receivables, with a security cover of at least 1.10 times the secured obligations.
The issue opened on August 7, 2026 and closes on August 20, 2026, backed by a Shelf Prospectus and Tranche I Prospectus dated July 31, 2026. The minimum application amount is ₹10,000.
The quick return to debt markets underscores how non-bank lenders like Paisalo lean on NCDs to fund loan books, offering retail investors fixed returns while diversifying away from bank borrowing. Shares slipped 0.34% to ₹70.82 on Friday.
