Aricoma buys Dentsu Tracking to deepen its western European push

What's the deal?

Aricoma , the technology company owned by Czech billionaire Karel Komárek's KKCG group, has acquired Swiss firm Dentsu Tracking from global marketing and communications group Dentsu . The target builds supply-chain tracking systems for multinational companies and public institutions across Europe. Terms were not disclosed.

What each side brings:

Dentsu Tracking, based in Switzerland with a strong presence in Spain, counts EU institutions, national governments — including the UK and Gibraltar — plus luxury and watchmaking brands among its clients. Its roughly 60 specialists will now operate under the Aricoma brand.

Why now?

The deal extends a buying streak. Aricoma acquired Luxembourg software developer NeoFacto in 2024 and, this January, picked up SAP-services provider Sapphir in Slovenia and an SAP division in Austria from Convotis.

What's the endgame?

Aricoma provides IT infrastructure, cloud, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, and systems integration. The technology, track-and-trace expertise, deepens its offering while expanding its footprint in Switzerland and Spain.

"Aricoma se stala v oblasti IT služeb nejen domácím leaderem, ale v posledních letech i důležitým hráčem v části západní Evropy," said chief executive officer Milan Sameš, adding the deal expands the company's reach in Switzerland and Spain.

By the numbers:

Aricoma, part of KKCG's technology pillar, employs some 2,300 people and reports revenue exceeding 12 billion korun. It already houses developers NeoFacto, Sapphir, and Clarystone under its umbrella.

The signal:

The acquisition marks another step in the consolidation of European IT services under well-capitalised owners. For Komárek, it strengthens a growing western European technology arm, moving Aricoma from a domestic leader toward a broader regional player.
