Momentum Environmental buys Corbett in its fourth deal since 2024

Momentum Environmental , a Bath, New York-based environmental and industrial services provider, has acquired the assets of Corbett Industrial Cleaning Services (CICS), a Menands, New York company specialising in cleaning and waste management. The deal was completed in partnership with CICS founder Craig Corbett. Terms were not disclosed.

Momentum says the acquisition expands its capabilities and operational presence in eastern New York and New England. CICS serves both public and private clients, including manufacturers, engineering firms, municipalities, and contractors in transportation, energy, and infrastructure.

This is Momentum's fourth acquisition since 2024. The company now runs three New York State Department of Environmental Conservation-permitted waste processing facilities and seven service locations across the state.

Corbett will become director of operations for Momentum's eastern region and a shareholder in the company. He will continue to lead operations across the capital region and New England. "Becoming part of a larger, vertically integrated organization allows us to broaden what we've created," he said.

Backed by middle-market private equity firm Nonantum Capital Partners , Momentum says its growth strategy includes further acquisitions and the development of permitted waste processing assets — a roll-up play consolidating regional environmental services under one platform.
