Medical materials maker Dason lands seed backing from Jeju startup fund

It plans to use the funding to refine products, boost production capacity, and expand into skincare lines based on its materials technology.

The signal: The round shows regional funds channelling capital into early-stage companies outside South Korea's dominant Seoul cluster, backing manufacturing startups that pair local roots with technical capability.
