Fleek raises $25M Series B to build AI for secondhand fashion

What's the deal? London-based Fleek has raised $25 million in Series B funding to expand its AI-powered marketplace for the global secondhand clothing industry. Burda Principal InvestmentsDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → led the round, with participation from eBay, FJ Labs, and H14Dealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, plus existing backers Andreessen Horowitz, HV Capital, and Y Combinator. The raise brings Fleek's total funding to £45 million.

What's the endgame? Founded in 2021 by Abhi Arora and Sanket Agarwal, Fleek runs a B2B marketplace and the AI systems that digitise the supply chain behind it. It currently connects more than 2,000 verified wholesale suppliers and graders with over 50,000 retailers, resellers, and boutiques across 100-plus countries.

The money will fund development of its marketplace, expand engineering teams, scale its platform, and grow its global buyer and supplier network.

How does the product work? At the centre is Fleek Sort, a vision language model trained on millions of secondhand transactions over four years. Graders in sorting hubs in Pakistan, India, and Dubai — with pilots in the UK, Europe, and the US — use it to identify, categorise, grade, and merchandise garments from photos or videos. Processed inventory is then auto-listed, where AI pricing, search, and matching systems connect stock with buyers.

Why now? "There's more data locked inside the global secondhand supply chain than almost any other market, yet historically very little of it has been captured," said Agarwal, Fleek's chief technology officer. Every transaction improves the model, creating what the company calls a proprietary intelligence layer for the industry.

Lead investor Burda Principal Investments was an early backer of Vinted and led its Series C. "We backed Vinted when secondhand fashion was still considered niche," said Julian von Eckartsberg, its managing director for Europe. "Fleek is building the infrastructure the next generation of fashion will rely on."

The signal: At $25 million, Fleek's round sits above the midpoint for its stage, and the backing of eBay and a Vinted veteran points to strategic interest in the plumbing beneath resale. As demand for secondhand clothing grows, the bet is that whoever digitises its fragmented supply chain first controls the market.
