TurboFlow raises $6M seed led by Pantera Capital
What's the deal? TurboFlowDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a Hong Kong-based onchain trading platform offering prediction markets and perpetual futures, has raised $6 million in seed funding.
Pantera Capital led the round, with Susquehanna CryptoDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → and Digital Currency Group participating.
The round, structured as a SAFE with token warrants, closed in March 2026. Founder Tony He, former co-founder and partner at Amber Group, declined to disclose the valuation.
Why now? The raise lands as prediction markets and perpetual futures keep growing and pulling in investor interest.
He said platforms such as Kalshi and Polymarket have gained traction in Western markets, but the sector remains underdeveloped across Asia. TurboFlow wants to fill that gap through localisation and a stronger regional presence.
"We see a large unfilled gap between Asian users and proper institutional-grade liquidity, and we're striving to become that bridge," He said.
The platform has run its beta for more than six months, attracting over 15,000 registered users and processing more than $19 billion in trading volume.
What could go wrong? Regulation is the open question. He said frameworks for prediction markets "vary significantly across APAC and are still evolving."
TurboFlow is "proactively building toward a compliant, legitimate setup," working with advisors on a market-by-market approach.
Building liquidity is the other challenge. He pointed to relationships with firms including Susquehanna Crypto and his own market-making background, and plans to compete on pricing, service quality, and infrastructure.
The signal: Prediction markets are spreading beyond their Western strongholds, and investors are betting on regional players to localise the model.
TurboFlow's fastest-growing segment comes entirely from prediction markets, He said, even though perpetuals remain the most popular crypto product.
With more than 30 employees and entry sizes as small as $2, the startup is targeting consumer event trading. It plans to stay "relatively lean" as it grows.
