Arclow raises pre-seed from Sazze Partners to automate US market entry

What's the deal? Arclow, a Korean startup building AI-powered global business infrastructure, has raised a pre-seed round from Silicon Valley cross-border VC Sazze PartnersDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →.

Founded in January, the company automates the back-office grunt work — incorporation, local bank accounts, accounting, tax, and compliance — that Korean firms face when expanding to the US.

Its platform combines proprietary AI agents with a network of local experts, letting clients handle administrative tasks through a single Slack-based interface.

Why now? Korea is seeing a surge in "born global" startups that target the US from day one, driving demand for infrastructure that smooths market entry.

Setting up a US entity still leaves founders juggling separate law firms and accountants for banking, tax, and foreign-exchange filings — a fragmented process that slows many companies down.

Arclow was recently named an official partner of the global expansion programme run by Startup Venture Campus Seoul, under the Korea Angel Investment AssociationDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →.

The signal: Founder Kang San Wi knows the playbook firsthand, having held product and operations roles at Google, Coupang, and CloudKitchens before serving as chief operating officer at San Francisco AI healthtech firm Need.

Arclow plans to expand beyond admin support into accounting, finance, and entity-operations automation, deepening its Silicon Valley presence.

The bet reflects a broader trend: as more startups go global from the start, the picks-and-shovels layer for cross-border expansion is becoming its own market.
