Ex-DeepMind duo raise $20M Series A to build AI agents for revenue teams
Airspeed , the London and New York-based startup formerly known as Glyphic, has raised a $20M Series A to build AI agents for revenue teams. The round was led by DN Capital, with participation from Vi Partners, Framework Venture Partners, and Atlassian Ventures. Total funding now exceeds $25M, including a $5.7M seed from Point72 Ventures in June 2023.
Founded in 2022 by former DeepMind research scientists Adam Liska and Devang Agrawal, Airspeed wants to replace the bloated stack of sales dashboards and CRM admin with AI agents that actually do the work — automating follow-ups, flagging deal risks, updating CRMs, and recommending next steps.
The company claims 200 customers across 20 countries, including Persona, Pricefx, and Qdrant. It says revenue grew 4x over the past 12 months, headcount doubled, and customers built thousands of custom agents on the platform in early 2026.
Sales teams are drowning in tools. The average revenue tech stack has ballooned, and reps spend hours on CRM admin instead of selling. Airspeed's pitch is that enterprise AI is shifting from summarisation to execution — from telling you what happened to doing something about it.
CEO Liska said revenue teams already have systems of record and systems of intelligence but lack "a system of action" that understands commercial context. The new capital will fund product development, hiring, and US expansion.
Airspeed faces stiff competition. 11x, which sells AI digital workers for sales and GTM teams, raised a reported $50M Series B led by a16z in 2024. Artisan's AI BDR product raised a $25M Series A in 2025 with backing from Y Combinator and HubSpot Ventures. Unify, an AI-native go-to-market platform, closed a $40M Series B led by Battery Ventures in July 2025.
The space is crowded and well-funded. Airspeed will need to prove its "commercial brain" positioning is meaningfully different from rivals also promising autonomous GTM execution.
Airspeed's early growth staging on Dealroom underscores how nascent the agentic GTM category still is — yet the calibre of capital flowing in suggests investors see a winner-takes-most dynamic forming fast. With 11x, Artisan, and Unify all raising larger rounds from heavyweight backers like a16z and Battery Ventures, Airspeed's $20M war chest and DeepMind pedigree will be tested against rivals that are better funded and already scaling aggressively in the same lane.
