Enzo Health raises $26M to bring AI to home care
What's the deal? Enzo Health, a startup building an AI platform for home health and post-acute care providers, has closed a $20M Series A led by N47, bringing its total funding to $26M. The company's software connects front office, clinical operations, and back office functions into one workflow, automating tasks from referral to reimbursement.
Launched in 2024, Enzo has grown revenue by more than 40x in twelve months. It now supports organisations serving over 500,000 patients annually.
Why now? More than 10,000 Americans turn 65 every day, and seven in ten will need long-term care at some point. Baby Boomers are increasingly choosing home-based support, and home health jobs are projected to grow 17% from 2024 to 2034.
That surge is straining an industry already hobbled by staffing shortages, tighter regulations, and shrinking reimbursement rates. The Home Care Association of America reports clinician turnover can hit 80% in the first 100 days, driven largely by burnout from heavy documentation and compliance workloads.
What could go wrong? Legacy software in home health has left agencies stitching together disconnected tools for years — and replacing entrenched workflows is never easy. Enzo must convince providers that a single AI-driven platform can handle intake, charting, quality assurance, and billing without introducing new compliance risks. Regulatory scrutiny of AI in healthcare is also intensifying, which could slow adoption.
The signal: Home care is one of the last major healthcare segments still running on patchwork technology. As demographic pressure mounts and margins tighten, providers are turning to AI-native platforms that can cut administrative overhead and reduce clinician burnout. Enzo's rapid revenue growth suggests the market is ready — and that investors see post-acute care automation as a category worth backing aggressively.
