Founded in 2023, Aquanta Vision makes an add-on app that bolts onto existing optical gas imaging (OGI) cameras — handheld, drone-mounted, or fixed — and automates the detection of methane plumes. The software installs in minutes, runs locally, and requires no new hardware.
Why now? The oil and gas industry conducts millions of OGI inspections each year, but spotting leaks still depends on a human operator's ability to recognise faint visual patterns.
