FlexThis raises €150K to grow its e-mobility platform for small businesses
What's the deal? FlexThis, a startup building an AI-enabled operating system for small and medium-sized businesses in e-mobility, has raised €150,000 from the Investing for Purpose Fund, which is backed by the European Investment Fund (EIF).
The platform gives local entrepreneurs and vendors a single dashboard to finance, procure, manage, and monetise their fleets through multiple revenue streams.
Including this round, FlexThis has now raised a total of €543,000 in pre-seed funding, with backing from Lars Rasmussen, Helidoni Group, and other angel investors.
Why now? E-mobility is expanding rapidly across Europe, and small businesses running electric fleets need integrated tools to manage operations that are growing more complex. FlexThis is positioning itself to capture that demand early, while EIF-backed funds are actively deploying capital into purpose-driven ventures.
What could go wrong? The funding is modest, and the company is still at the pre-seed stage. Building a full operating system — spanning financing, procurement, fleet management, and monetisation — is ambitious for a startup with limited capital. Competition from larger fleet-management platforms could also squeeze it out before it scales.
The signal: EIF-backed funds betting on e-mobility infrastructure tools suggests growing institutional confidence that the sector's next wave of value will come not from building vehicles, but from the software layer that helps small operators run them profitably. FlexThis sits squarely in that niche.
