AJMS Group commits $20M to expand e-invoicing platform Marmin globally

What's the deal? AJMS GlobalDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a Gulf-based professional services group, is investing $20 million in Marmin, its e-invoicing and digital compliance platform. The funds will accelerate international expansion, advance AI-driven features, and strengthen regulatory integrations and enterprise support.

Marmin is currently live in six markets: the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, India, Singapore, and Belgium. The platform helps organisations manage invoices, automate workflows, and comply with tax and reporting requirements — especially useful for businesses juggling multiple systems and high transaction volumes.

"Marmin is a platform for invoice generation, reporting and compliance, but beyond that, it also serves as an AI-enabled financial intelligence platform," said Abhishek Jajoo, chairman and founder of AJMS Group.

Why now? The UAE is pushing hard to become a leading digital economy, and e-invoicing is central to that ambition. AJMS Global, headquartered in the UAE with nine offices across the Gulf and additional presence in India, Ethiopia, and the UK, wants to ride that wave.

"We believe the country has the opportunity to lead the region in AI-enabled compliance, digital finance infrastructure and intelligent business reporting," Jajoo said.

What could go wrong? E-invoicing is an increasingly crowded space, with governments worldwide mandating digital tax compliance and global players competing for market share. Marmin will need to prove it can scale beyond its current six jurisdictions while keeping pace with fast-changing regulatory requirements in each new market.

The signal: With both AJMS Global and Marmin AI classified as breakout-stage entities on Dealroom, the $20 million commitment suggests a professional services firm betting that owning compliance infrastructure is more valuable than advising on it. As governments across the Middle East, Asia, and Europe accelerate e-invoicing mandates, the race to become a cross-border compliance layer is intensifying — and platforms that can bundle invoicing with AI-driven financial intelligence may hold an edge over single-jurisdiction rivals.
