Beijer Tech acquires Swedish hydraulics distributor Slangservice

The deal was signed and closed on May 19, 2026, through Beijer Tech's subsidiary Lundgrens.

Slangservice distributes hoses, pipes, couplings, wear parts, and other hydraulic products. It also offers field and workshop services and holds a strong position in Sweden's Mälardalen region. The company has 13 employees and annual revenue of about US$5.44M with what Beijer Alma called "good profitability."

Former owner and chief executive Claes Runehagen will stay on, along with other owners.

Why now? The acquisition fits Beijer Tech's stated strategy of buying profitable companies in attractive niches with growth potential and high value-add. Fredrik Karlsson, head of the Fluid Technology business area, said the deal increases Lundgrens' presence in the Mälardalen region and strengthens its technical expertise and service offering.
