The company
Zerova builds the full stack of EV charging kit — from residential AC units to standalone DC fast-chargers delivering up to 480kW across multiple vehicles at once — plus dispenser-style chargers for space-tight fleet hubs and media chargers that turn charging bays into ad screens. It ties the hardware together with a Charging Station Management System that lets partners monitor and control sessions via API.
As public and fleet charging scales past pilot phase, operators want fewer vendors and more control — integrated hardware-plus-software from a single supplier rather than stitched-together kit. High-power charging and revenue-generating formats like media chargers speak directly to that shift.
Zerova was carved out as a standalone company in 2022 from an R&D division that started inside Phihong Technology back in 2010, and it remains a subsidiary of the Taiwanese power-supply maker, which has a 50-year track record in the field.
The company sits under Phihong's five decades of power-supply expertise and says it has already deployed more than 100,000 charging ports worldwide, working with partners including Shell and on projects with Audi.
