Jazz is a New York-based cybersecurity company that rebuilds data loss prevention around intent and context instead of rigid rule engines. Its message is that legacy DLP is a broken promise, with overwhelming false positives, endless rule tuning, blind spots in generative AI, desktop activity and shadow apps, and controls that block the business, and that modern tools which add AI to the old foundation do not fix it.

The platform combines a forensic endpoint agent with Melody, an autonomous Agentic Investigator that learns how an organisation actually works. It investigates signals at the source across four dimensions of context, covering data, systems, people and business, so that analysts get answers instead of alerts and only meaningful incidents are surfaced. The product is organised into detection, investigation, posture and prevention. For prevention it makes in-context, precise decisions such as nudging users, requesting justification or applying a targeted block when needed, to protect roadmaps, source code and customer data without interrupting work.

Jazz emphasises radical simplicity, operating in plain language without rule writing or endless data labelling so that a single analyst can run a whole DLP programme, and privacy by default, with granular control over what is monitored, investigated, retained and shown to analysts. It deploys in minutes with no integrations required and is in production at dozens of organisations, including technology and consumer companies such as Lemonade, AlphaSense and CAVA.

Jazz sells its software to enterprise security teams as a subscription, positioning itself as a modern AI-native alternative to legacy DLP products from established security vendors, with a demo-led sales process.
