SecuredAI is an AI security firm that tests and protects three kinds of systems: customer-facing chatbots, internal retrieval (RAG) systems and agentic AI workflows. Its Perimeter offering combines red teaming, runtime guardrails, gateway controls and identity and access governance for each of them.
Each of those systems fails differently, from prompt injection in chat to retrieval that ignores document permissions and agents with too many permissions or unauthenticated MCP connections. SecuredAI covers all three with one team and reports through a single risk register.
SecuredAI is based in San Francisco and was founded in 2026 by Ajay Chandramouly. It serves regulated industries, including healthcare, financial services and legal, and enterprises rolling out AI assistants.
Ajay Chandramouly has more than 20 years in engineering and data roles, including at Oracle and Intel, and holds CISSP, CCSP, CISM and CSSLP credentials. Chandramouly previously worked at Tableau and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and lectures at UC Davis Graduate School of Management.
