Maritime provides agent-native cloud infrastructure, giving each AI agent its own isolated micro-VM with dedicated vCPU, RAM and persistent SSD storage so agents can keep state, files and browser sessions over time. An automatic sleep/wake function parks idle agents to cut costs, restoring them on demand.
As companies move from running one AI agent to hundreds or thousands per customer, traditional metered cloud billing and container workflows become awkward and expensive. Maritime bets on flat, per-agent pricing — from $1 per agent per month — as the model developers actually want.
Founded in 2026 and a graduate of Y Combinator's F26 batch, the company says its approach draws on the founders' research at MIT's NANDA Lab, where they worked on AI agent coordination at scale.
CEO Maria Gorskikh and CTO Aryaman Shrivastava pair research roots in agent coordination with a clear product opinion, shipping a platform that meets developers via dashboard, CLI, REST API and SDKs, with support for frameworks like OpenClaw and Hermes.
