About TerraSpark

TerraSpark is a Luxembourg deep-tech company founded in 2025 by Jasper Deprez (CEO), Dr Sanjay Vijendran (CTO) and Matthias Laug (COO) to commercialise space-based solar power (SBSP) with a modular path from terrestrial wireless power demos to orbital beaming. Deprez previously built HRTech platform Tradler; Vijendran led ESA’s SOLARIS SBSP work and contributed to Mars mission planning; Laug co-founded Lieferando (Just Eat Takeaway) and TIER Mobility. Rather than starting with city-scale orbital plants, TerraSpark first commercialises radio-frequency wireless energy transmission for industrial and off-grid uses, then plans an orbital demonstrator (targeted around 2027) and space-to-Earth transmission (targeted around 2028). In March 2026 it closed a pre-seed of over €5 million from Daphni, Sake Bosch, better ventures, Hans(wo)men Group, Luxembourg Business Angel Network and Karaoke Club to advance technology and first pilot applications.
