The firm operates two main technology platforms: STARi (Super Targeting Activated Response of immunization) for creating various tumor vaccine products, and the NewishT cell therapy platform. A key product from the NewishT platform is an autologous memory lymphocyte injection, which was the first cell therapy product primarily composed of central memory T cells to be approved by national drug regulators for preventing recurrence after solid tumor surgery. Novi Technology has also developed DNA vaccines for liver cancer and HPV, with its HPV therapeutic DNA nucleic acid drug, NWRD08, entering the IND application phase with China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA).

The company is led by CEO Dr. Liu Defang and co-founder and CTO Dr. Qi Hailong. Novi has established a B+A level GMP pilot plant for new drugs and a DNA tumor vaccine research and development laboratory in the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone. Its business model revolves around the R&D of first-in-class gene therapy and immunotherapy drugs with fully independent intellectual property rights, aiming to address unmet clinical needs in early-stage tumor treatment. The company has successfully raised capital, including a Pre-B round of 50 million yuan.
