Vivacta Biotechnology is a Shanghai-headquartered biopharmaceutical company focused on developing in vivo Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR)-T cell therapies. The company's lead product candidate is GT801, an in vivo CAR-T therapy targeting CD19. GT801 is being investigated for the treatment of hematologic malignancies and autoimmune diseases. In an investigator-initiated Phase 1 study for relapsed or refractory CD19-positive B-cell malignancies, GT801 was generally well-tolerated and demonstrated the ability to generate functional CAR-T cells in vivo without requiring lymphodepleting chemotherapy. Initial data presented in December 2025 showed promising safety and efficacy signals, including deep B-cell depletion in patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. In April 2026, Vivacta announced the completion of Series A and Series A+ financing rounds totaling over $50 million. The financing was led by Loyal Valley Capital and Decheng Capital, with participation from investors such as OrbiMed, Hankang Capital, Eisai Innovation Inc., Qiming Venture Partners, and others. The proceeds are intended to advance clinical trials for GT801, support regulatory submissions, expand the research team, and accelerate the company's global expansion.
