MindMeld, founded in 2011 by serial entrepreneur Tim Tuttle, established itself as a key player in the conversational AI sector before its strategic acquisition by Cisco in 2017. Tuttle, who holds a Ph.D. from the MIT Artificial Intelligence Lab, previously co-founded Bang Networks and the video search engine Truveo, which was acquired by AOL.
