Hubble Network is a Seattle-based satellite connectivity company that lets standard Bluetooth Low Energy devices talk to low-Earth-orbit satellites without dedicated modems or new chipsets. Founded in 2021 by CEO Alex Haro (ex-Life360 CTO), CTO Ben Wild, John Kim and Josh Barnes, Hubble uses patented digital beamforming and phased-array antennas so existing BLE radios can send location and sensor data via a software/firmware update, aiming for roughly 20× lower battery drain and far lower cost than traditional satellite or cellular IoT links. Enterprise customers and partners cited in press include Samsara, Texas Instruments, InPlay, Reelables and Muon Space; the company reports six satellites on orbit toward a 60-satellite constellation by 2030, plus a large terrestrial gateway network and hundreds of thousands of active devices. After a Series A and a $70 million Series B about a year earlier, Hubble raised a $200 million Series C in September 2026 led by Smith Point Capital with Seraphim, Carthona Capital, Earthshot Ventures, Y Combinator and RPM Ventures, bringing total funding to about $300 million at a $1.6 billion valuation to expand the constellation and further cut per-device connectivity cost.
