Hephaesnus is a R&D Company dedicated to developing technologies and products which fight forest fires in a safer, more efficient, autonomous, and sustainable way.
We currently have 3 products/technologies under development and about to 'go to the market'.
- Sallus: An ornamental vase with an incorporated Hephaesnus technology, which enables fully autonomous fire detection and extinguishing for properties in a mobile way;
- Hephaesnus' extinguishing load: A novel extinguishing load capable of increasing dramatically in volume, allowing for better efficiency in fire extinguishing, with applicability to forest fires due to its low cost. This extinguishing load is currently being patented;
- PROJECTILE: A solution to enable public entities to fight forest fires from a distance, thus enabling a safer forest firefighting alongside the capacity to fight fires which otherwise would be unreachable. This solution consists in a projectile made using recycled composites which carry our novel extinguishing load, which are then fired by our propelling device. When it reaches the ground, it desintegrates, releasing our extinguishing load and extinguishing the fire in a considerable radius (at least 6m2).
