About Furientis

Furientis is a Los Angeles, CA-based defense technology company that manufactures low-cost interceptor missiles engineered from day one for high-rate production. The company vertically integrates core subsystems including the seeker, control actuation, airframe and solid rocket motor, using proprietary motor chemistry optimised for production throughput and designing around targets of 1,000 units per factory per year and a 30-minute final assembly time per vehicle. Its first platform is the F1.0 Tactical Interceptor. Furientis was founded in 2025 by Brody Franzen and Aris Simsarian. The company says that in the last 10 months it has conducted 21 vehicle tests, including 13 flight tests and 8 static fires, opened its first propellant manufacturing facility and signed a funded OTA contract with the US Department of War. In October 2026, Furientis announced a $25 million Seed round led by Benchmark, with Benchmark general partner Chetan Puttagunta joining its board, to invest in hiring, in-house manufacturing and testing capabilities, and flight test operations.
